When you're running a premium, high-performance HPA platform like the Wolverine MTW, using cheap, off-spec airsoft parts on your rifle is a recipe for slop and play. Your stock should feel solid, acting as a direct extension of your shoulder—not rattling around like a loose toy.
The Wolverine Airsoft MTW Buffer Tube is the standard, factory-issue mil-spec stock tube shipped on all MTW-series rifles. Whether you are performing a fresh custom build, replacing a worn-down component, or returning your MTW to its original configuration after running a WRAITH stock, this genuine Wolverine part delivers a perfect, wiggle-free fit.
Many airsoft stock tubes use proprietary "airsoft-spec" diameters that are either too thin or too thick, leaving you with stock wobble or forcing you to sand down your favourite tactical stocks. This genuine Wolverine part is machined to true mil-spec dimensions, allowing you to slide on high-quality real-steel or premium airsoft stocks (such as Magpul CTRs, SL-Ks, or PTS EPS stocks) with a satisfyingly snug, zero-play lockup.
Crafted from lightweight, heavy-duty aluminium and finished in a wear-resistant anodized matte black coating, this buffer tube is built to take a beating. It handles the constant tension of single-point slings, barricade bracing, and rough field storage without bending or stripping.
Because the MTW's lower receiver utilizes authentic real-steel threading, forcing a standard metric AEG buffer tube into it will strip the receiver threads beyond repair. This genuine buffer tube features the exact thread pitch required to spin effortlessly into your MTW, securing tightly to your receiver and keeping your internal wiring or air alignment pristine.
(Note: Castle nut and endplate are sold separately)
Installing your stock tube incorrectly can damage your internal HPA components. Follow this simple safety check:
When screwing your buffer tube into the back of your lower receiver, ensure the tube does not thread past flush with the inside of the lower receiver wall.
If the tube extends into the receiver cavity, it will physically prevent your upper receiver from pivoting closed, or worse, it will pinch and sever your internal control board wiring or engine air lines when you shut the gun! Spin it in until it sits flush, pull it back a hair, slide on your sling plate, and lock it down securely using your castle nut.
