When removing or installing your buffer tube and castle nut, always use a dedicated AR-15 armorer's wrench to prevent scratching your finish.

• Alignment Check: When screwing your buffer tube back into the lower receiver, make sure you do not screw it past flush with the inside of the lower receiver. If it goes in too far, your upper receiver won't close, or you could damage your engine's internal air lines!
• A Touch of Loctite: If you are running heavy-recoil systems like the QUAKE stock, a tiny drop of medium (blue) Loctite on the buffer tube threads will prevent your castle nut from backing out during intense, rapid-fire gameplay.
