The Golden Rules of Type 89 Ownership

• Selector Safety Tip: Just like the real-steel rifle, the fire selector cannot be moved into "Safe" unless the hammer is cocked back. Never force the selector arm onto Safe if the gun isn't cocked, as doing so will permanently warp the internal sear linkages.
• Gas Selection: To ensure the perfect balance of crisp blowback cycling and long-term nozzle longevity, run high-quality Green Gas (like Nuprol 2.0 or Vorsk V6) during most UK spring and summer game days. In peak winter, step up to a higher pressure gas to combat freeze-up.
• Hop Adjustments: The variable hop-up dial is cleverly hidden away on the left side of the outer barrel chamber. To adjust it, simply depress the handguard release levers, slip the outer steel handguard panels off, and dial in your trajectory. Feed it high-grade 0.25g or 0.28g BBs for insane, flat outdoor range that will easily surprise sniper players.
