By utilizing an advanced, fibre-filled nylon polymer for the receiver, handguard, and stock assembly, Raven has massively shaved down the dead weight of this platform. Inside the high-strength polymer shell sits Raven's workhorse: the full-metal LEVIN Gearbox. Engineered specifically to handle the relentless stress of long, suppressive bursts, it features robust 18:1 steel gears cycling smoothly on 8mm metal bearings, a full steel-teeth piston, 16-gauge silver-coated low-resistance wiring, and a high-torque motor.

4. True Quick Spring Change System

Field limits vary, and support weapons face strict scrutiny at the chronograph. The LEVIN gearbox features a True Quick Spring Change system accessible directly through the rear of the receiver. You can cleanly swap your main spring out in minutes to perfectly match your local site’s specific LMG power regulations.

5. Ultimate Magazine Flexibility

While traditional LMGs force you to rely solely on bulky, noisy box magazines, the NEO LMG249-P features dual-feeding versatility. It is fully compatible with standard, lightweight M4/AR-15 platform AEG magazines. • The 11.1v Advantage: Thanks to the integrated ETS, this support gun is fully optimized to run on a high-voltage 11.1v LiPo battery configured with a Deans plug. The extra voltage gives you a devastating, smooth rate of fire that keeps heads down. Just remember: per factory specs, avoid Graphene-based LiPo cells to prevent over-current protection trips.
• Go Big with a Drum: While the ability to accept standard M4 magazines is a brilliant tactical fallback, true support players want endless ammo. We highly recommend grabbing a dedicated LMG249 Auto-Winding Drum Magazine from our shop to unlock thousands of rounds of continuous, uninterrupted cover fire.
• Heavy BBs for Sustained Streams: Because support fire relies on tracking your stream of plastic onto the target, ditch the ultra-light 0.20g BBs. Dial the rotary hop chamber into 0.25g or 0.28g high-grade ammo. The heavier weight cuts through wind and foliage far more effectively at long range.
