Skirmish-Ready Lightweight Build

Lugging a full-steel support weapon around an all-day skirmish can drain your stamina fast. VFC solved this by crafting the receiver and main body out of CNC-machined aluminium alloy with strategic steel reinforcements. Weighing in at just under 3.9kg, less than half the weight of a real steel M249, it gives you aggressive, mobile support firepower without total operator fatigue.

Innovative Split Gas & Ammo System

Unlike standard GBBRs that combine gas and BBs in heavy, bulky magazines, the VFC M249 uses a split feed system:

• The Gas Reservoir: Housed inside an M4/AR-15 style magazine inserted directly into the receiver's mag-well.
• The BB Supply: Uses ultra-lightweight polymer feed tray magazines holding a realistic 100-round capacity.

This design reduces magazine carry weight on your rig, maximizes gas volume efficiency, and keeps your bolt cycling hard and fast.

Open-Bolt Realism & Simulated Belt Shake

Featuring authentic open-bolt operation, pulling the charging handle back locks the bolt to the rear, ready to lay down automatic fire on target. The feed tray features a simulated ammo belt shake mechanism that vibrates a dummy belt as you fire for total immersion.
