The beating heart of the F2 is its dual-solenoid design, allowing the nozzle and poppet valve to be adjusted independently. By giving you control over the way your HPA engine operates, this allows you to fine-tune the system for your preferred setup.
Tune Your Performance
One of the major advantages of the F2 Conversion Kit is that you can adjust velocity by changing the input pressure without needing to swap nozzles across the engine's stated velocity range.
The PolarStar F2 operates across a 45–145 PSI pressure range, providing a broad adjustment window that can cover everything from CQB-style setups through to higher-powered configurations, depending on the individual rifle, barrel and site limits.

PolarStar states that the F2 can achieve 1,000+ shots from a 13/3000 PSI tank at 1.5J using 0.28g BBs in its specified test configuration. Actual air consumption will vary depending on your rifle, settings, barrel and playing conditions.
Rapid Rate of Fire Potential
The F2 can achieve up to around 30 rounds per second in suitable configurations, with actual cyclic rate affected by factors including operating pressure, magazine performance and BB quality.

BZ Tech Advice:
- Dwell Tuning (DN): Don't leave your FCU on default settings! Lower your Nozzle Dwell (DN) incrementally on the FCU until the engine begins to misfeed, then bump it up 2–3 points. This optimizes your air consumption, giving you significantly more shots per tank fill.
- Hop-Up Alignment: Precise centre alignment between the F2 nozzle and your hop-up bucking is critical for HPA builds. Ensure your gearbox shell sits square inside the receiver to prevent air leaks and flyers downrange.
- FCU Power Care: Always disconnect your 7.4v JST FCU battery when packing away your rifle for the day, the FCU draws a tiny idle current that will drain LiPo batteries flat if left plugged in over time!
