Constructed from premium, high-density nylon fiber polymer across the upper receiver, lower receiver, and handguard, the SOPMOD achieves excellent structural integrity while remaining remarkably lightweight. This weight optimization reduces operator fatigue during intensive all-day skirmishes, allowing for lightning-fast target acquisition and sharp weapon transitions.

Robust Internals & Out-of-the-Box Accuracy

Beneath its classic exterior, the SOPMOD features a reinforced Gen2 Version 2 full-metal gearbox. Driven by a 21,000 RPM high-torque long-shaft motor, 18:1 steel gears, and 8mm ball bearings, the rifle cycles cleanly and consistently under sustained use.

For reliable performance downrange, the rifle is equipped with a modern rotary hop-up unit, a 50° hop rubber, and a 6.03 mm precision tightbore inner barrel. This combination ensures an airtight seal, stable BB flight, and tighter groupings. Meeting local UK site limits is effortless thanks to the integrated M90 quick-change spring system, allowing for rapid power adjustments without requiring a full gearbox disassembly. To maximize performance, the wiring platform is pre-fitted with a Deans (T-Connector) for optimal electrical efficiency and snappy trigger response.
