By keeping only part of the slide moving, it reduces the reciprocating mass for faster cycling, better gas efficiency, and sharper recoil than the full-weight slide. At just 38.6g, the slide sits among the lightest available for the Tokyo Marui 5.1 platform, giving you that extra sight radius without unnecessary weight.
