The Design Philosophy and Meaning Behind "ExoFrame":
1. Exoskeleton Concept ("Exo"):
Symbolizes strong external protection and structural support—like an exoskeleton that shields the internal core. This enhances overall impact resistance and stability.
2. Structural Frame ("Frame"):
Represents the core structural element of the product. Much like a chassis or skeleton, it serves as the fundamental framework that supports the entire build.
Combined Meaning:
ExoFrame emphasizes a design philosophy where external structure equals core strength. Instead of relying on assembled parts, it uses a unibody external frame to deliver exceptional protection, rigidity, and stability.

Our CNC Frame Journey
We have to admit,out of all the parts we’ve ever made, this was by far the most challenging one to produce, and the one that took us the longest to test. Up until now, all AAP-01 frames on the market have been made of plastic. So when we decided to create a CNC aluminum version, we knew we were stepping into some serious challenges.
This frame was incredibly difficult to manufacture. And honestly, we believe that’s exactly why, even though the AAP-01 has been out for years, no other brand has released a CNC frame yet. Unlike the relatively simple Hi-Capa lower, the AAP-01 frame has complex features like the hammer housing and the safety mechanism, all of which have to be precisely machined. What made things even tougher was the deep magwell design,extremely hard to process using CNC. And beyond just technical skill, you also need a factory willing to take on such a high-difficulty project. Fortunately, we work with an amazing CNC factory that took on the challenge and nailed it.
Then came the prototyping phase. We spent over four months building and testing more than five different versions. We tested every detail, from tolerances to the fit and smooth function of every component. Since metal doesn't have the flexibility or give that plastic does, we had to get every tolerance just right, there was no room for error. We ran into plenty of obstacles, but we stayed with it and solved every issue, one by one.
So when you finally hold this frame in your hands, we hope you can feel just how much effort and craftsmanship went into it. It’s one of the most technically demanding CNC products we’ve ever made, and we hope you love it as much as we do.
