This Airsoft Silencer/Suppressor is modelled after modern 7.62 style quick-detach sound suppressors, by combining CNC-machined aluminium with functional interior foam baffing to lower the suppress the sound of your shots.

The Action Army DDW Airsoft Silencer seamlessly attaches to your AAP-01 GBB Pistol to create the perfect Assassin silhouette. With a standard 14mm Counter-Clockwise (CCW) threads, it can screw directly onto standard Airsoft outer barrels, carbine conversion kits, and HPA builds.

What is a Silencer or Suppressor?

Funnily enough, they're both the same thing. In 1902, the term "Silencer" was patented, but the modern firearms industry prefer the term "Suppressor" because is offers a more accurate depiction of what they do. Suppressors/Silencers use internal padding to suppress the sound of shots to give you a more stealthy edge.

• HPA Sound Reduction: While green gas pistols mostly emit mechanical slide noise, HPA-converted AAP-01 builds benefit hugely from foam-filled Airsoft Suppressors like the DDW. The interior foam traps muzzle air pressure, converting loud cracks into dull, whisper-quiet thuds at range.
• Extended Inner Barrel Cover: If you're building an AAP-01 carbine using long inner barrels (such as 150mm - 200mm tightbore barrels), the 168mm length of this silencer fully conceals and protects the inner barrel from field impacts.
• Outer Barrel Stability: Use the integrated rubber O-ring at the base to keep the Silencer snugly positioned against your barrel shoulder. This prevents the threads from vibrating loose under high rates of fire on full-auto.
